Nymph Fly Fishing - a Satisfying Challenge
While nymph fly fishing is probably the most challenging of all it can also be the most rewarding.  Nymph fly fishing is a technique involving fishing with the fly below the water as opposed to the fly being on top of the stream.

The Meriam-Webster dictionary defines nymph fly fishing as “any of various immature insects; especially: a larva of an insect (as a grasshopper, true bug, or mayfly) with incomplete metamorphosis that differs from the imago especially in size and in its incompletely developed wings and genitalia.” In layman’s terms this means that the insects are still in their underwater stage and have not reached adulthood.

Learning a little about the life cycle of insects will give you a wealth of knowledge for nymph fly fishing. With a little research to determine what type of nymph fly to use for the fish you want to catch, you will enjoy some of the best fishing ever.
