Trout Fly Fishing Provides Variety and Challenge |
|
Ah, trout fly fishing, what a way to spend a day! You can find
trout fly fishing almost anywhere you can find a stream. Trout actually
belong to the salmon family and are cold water fish. Not all species of
trout are found in every location. For instance you will usually find
Cutthroat trout in remote areas of western Canada and the U.S. Golden
trout are native to the southern Sierra Nevada of California, but have
been introduced to some rivers in Canada. Brook trout are relatively
easy to catch using wet flies.
Brown trout are native to Europe, but were introduced to rivers all
over North America in the last 100 years. They are considered harder
to catch as they feed mainly at night. If you are trout fly fishing in
the Pacific Coast Region of the U.S. and Canada you are very likely to
catch Rainbow Trout.
Spend a day trout fly fishing and see what anglers all over rave
about. Bull, Apache, Cutthroat and Lake trout are all waiting for you!
